Hello All, Last night was a busy one with awesome shows opening at Alexi Era Gallery, Merry Karnowsky Gallery, and Copro Nason Gallery. First, the Alexi Era Grand Opening Show was not to be missed for those of you in the Saint Louis area who enjoy Pop Surrealism and Dark Surrealism. I saw some pics from the opening and it looked like a huge success! A huge congrats to Alexi Era for their successful opening night event! I was able to attend the Travis Louie show "Strange Discoveries" and the Merry Karnowsky gallery. The place was packed and it was a beautiful exhibition of work by the very talented artist. And a big thanks to Mr. Louie for escorting me in to the show after I forgot to RSVP, heh. The Copro Nason BeinArt Collective show looked like it was a great collection of art as well, unfortunately I wasn't able to make it to the opening night. The drive back to San Diego was really smooth, but still a long one at 2am! The Alexi Era Grand Opening Show is this Saturday November 9th, 2013. I hope some of you will be able to experience this exhibit of new works by some of the most talented artists of Lowbrow, Pop Surrealism and Dark Surrealism ! My good friend Travis Louie will also be having an opening that night at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery for those of you who live on the west coast :) It's going to be a great night for art shows and I hope you can make it out to one of these awesome My little piece "Into The Darkness" will be showing at the Alexi Era Gallery Grand Opening Show November 9th, 2013. "Into the Darkness" measures in at just 1inch x 3 inches and is my smallest painting to date! Oil on watercolor paper in a large orate frame, she is available through Alexi Era Gallery. "Alexi Era Gallery was co-founded by artist, author, and curator Aunia Kahn and author Russell J. Moon as an answer to the profound eruption of spirited, innovative, and deserving artists breaking the seams of the art world today." I'm really looking forward to seeing what Alexi Era Gallery holds for the future, if the Grand Opening show lineup is any indication it's going to be an amazing new space for lowbrow, pop surrealism and dark surrealism artists! Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out to the 13th Hour Show at Last Rites Gallery. I wish I could have been there in New York with all of you, but I spent my Halloween on the west coast this year. I hope to see you all next year when I return to Last Rites Gallery in October 2014! |
